Thanks to the 980nm transdermal diode, with optical fiber transmission system, designed for the treatment of telangiectasias and small caliber vessels and other vascular pathologies, it is characterized by being a versatile and easy to use instrument.
The treatment with DIODO980 is based on the principle of selective photothermolysis: the laser light is absorbed by the oxyhemoglobin, leading to the coagulation of the vessels with no skin lesions: the laser light is applied to the skin along the path of the vascular lesion while the heat coagulates and closes the vessel (photothermocoagulation) without damaging the epidermis or the surrounding tissue.
DIODO908 does not develop the purple effect and has an excellent dermal penetration, a lower possibility of alteration of the pigmentation compared to other treatments, no of bandages needed after treatment, absence of allergic reactions, and it is free from needles and hematomas. Due to the low absorption of this wavelength by melanin, this treatment can be performed on patients with high phototype and at any time of the year. Furthermore, the patient can immediately resume his normal activities.
